HullLUG breaches the UK and EU Data Protection Acts?

I performed a recent search here on Blogger.com for my local linux user group, namely Hull LUG and was amazed when I spotted the following

HULL Linux User Group breaches the UK and EU Data Protection Acts

This has raised a number questions which I've posted to the group . I'm hoping that this matter is fully addressed and looked into as it is damaging publicity for the group.
